“Friends on The Beach” – 4

An idea by Rotaract Club Varna, inspired by friendship, the Summer and good will

The idea:

The best way to understand the meaning of the word “friendship” is to experience it. Rotaract Club Varna would like to invite you to be part of this experience by joining “Friends on the beach”.This is the fourth time we are welcoming our friends from other Rotaract Clubs from Bulgaria and neighbouring countries and will add new exiting experiences to our summer memories and will create friends for life.

History:

Last September Rotaract Club Varna for the third time welcomed guests from Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. The International meeting “Friends on the beach” took place at the beginning of September 2010. During the 3 days of the event we offered an interesting and diverse program. The idea of the meeting was to give our friends from our neighboring countries and from other clubs in Bulgaria the opportunity to enjoy the beach and the sea. For our guests we have prepared a lot of surprises, one of which was the amazing light show “Aladzha Closter”, as well as surfing school, karting race and a visit to the unigue “Old Varna” Museum.Gala dinner was organised on the very beach, at a cozy romantic restaurant, where our club and Rotaract club Constanta became twin clubs. This was the first step in establishing a long-term relationship with another club that will lead to ongoing projects. We formalised the new partner club relationship by signing aletter of agreement. At the last day of our meeting we planted an evergreentree as a symbol of our friendship.

On 2, 3 and 4 September 2011 Friends on the beach again gives you the chance to visit our beautiful Bulgaria and the most exiting Bulgarian city – Varna. We will have fun, make new friends and share ideas for successful Rotaract projects in the future.
